Job Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in baking
  • Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily
  • Willingness to work full-time with varying days and hours
  • Ability to comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Must be able to work in New York Commissary location
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
  • Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and use of proper equipment
  • Complete production records including waste tracking and product shortages
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area
  • Handle food items with safety regulations in mind
  • Clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
