Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years culinary-related experience
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain consistent quality and cost control in pastry production

Job Duties

  • Ensure quality and consistency of all pastry products produced and served
  • Manage efficiencies, consistency, and cost accountability for the pastry department
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on new dessert creation and implementation
  • Train and mentor pastry department associates
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the pastry kitchen
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Adapt working schedule to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays according to business requirements
