Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience or training
- valid state food handlers permit
- valid driver's license or state ID card
- ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- commitment to following safety protocols and company policies
- attendance and punctuality
- ability to work under moderate noise and temperature conditions
- willingness to complete mandatory training programs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- one to three months related experience or training preferred
- effective communication skills with guests, vendors, and fellow associates
- ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence
- basic mathematical skills with money, weight, and volume measurements
- ability to apply common sense and manage problems in standardized situations
- meets state minimum requirements to operate bakery equipment
- valid state food handlers permit
- valid driver's license or state ID card
- willing to undergo company-provided training including food safety, active shooter, and guest service training
Job Duties
- Reporting for assigned shifts on time and prepared to provide excellent service
- promoting sales by providing high-quality products consistent with company formulas
- providing exceptional guest service using established training
- finishing par bake products, labeling, rotating, writing on cakes, handling orders, and implementing promotions
- maintaining proficiency in producing a variety of baked products while ensuring a sanitary environment
- operating bakery equipment safely and correctly
- lowering, glazing, frosting, and decorating doughnuts to ensure quality presentation
- observing doughnut color and weight for standards compliance
- ensuring accurate production by analyzing shrink
- receiving and checking ingredient deliveries
- communicating and fulfilling guest special orders accurately
- mentoring new associates and fostering a positive learning environment
- ensuring all work complies with safety, food handling, and company policies
- actively participating in safety and accident reduction plans including cleaning and maintenance tasks
