Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication skills and team participation
- Ability to operate bakery equipment
- Physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 40 lbs
- Maintain Food Handlers permit
- Adherence to safety and health regulations
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Outgoing and friendly with positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction
- Able to answer phones and take special orders
- Knowledge of bakery equipment and scales
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle lifting up to 40 lbs
- Maintain Food Handlers permit
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation of bakery products and discarding outdated items
- Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Perform general housekeeping
- Operate bakery equipment and handle customer special orders
