Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • ability to follow detailed procedures and recipes
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • ability to handle food safely and adhere to hygiene standards
  • basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • capacity to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in baking or food preparation is an asset
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • good communication and teamwork abilities
  • basic math skills for inventory and production recording
  • attention to detail in food preparation and presentation

Job Duties

  • Follow the guaranteed Always Fresh procedure to ensure products are fresh and accurate
  • adhere to product shelf life standards
  • deliver consistent and outstanding customer service by maintaining an appealing showcase with minimum quantity and variety standards
  • enhance customer service through friendly attitude and attentive behavior following the S.E.T. Principles
  • support speed of service targets by working quickly and efficiently in restaurant and drive-thru
  • promptly execute service recovery for customer concerns or complaints
  • listen carefully to customer service concerns and apologize when necessary
  • follow all operations standards and guidelines for preparation of products and operation of equipment
  • monitor fridge and freezer product inventory and submit order quantities
  • prepare products minimizing food waste and record production and waste on the production sheet
  • respond to showcase and product needs from front of house
  • assist in serving guests when necessary
  • regularly take temperatures of products and storage and record in Time & Temperature Log
  • clean and maintain the production area
  • follow all restaurant policies, procedures and standards
  • support a clean environment ready for rush periods through regular clean up, organization and stocking
  • follow proper hand washing techniques and sanitation guidelines
  • complete all sanitation tasks as directed
  • work in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
  • know and follow safe work practices and procedures
  • use or wear personal protective equipment as required
  • report all injuries, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents to management
  • avoid operating equipment or working in a manner that endangers safety
