Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of professional baking experience, preferably in bread production or a high-volume kitchen
  • strong understanding of dough development, fermentation, and baking techniques
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and adjust formulations as needed
  • knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
  • excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake various types of breads, rolls, and specialty loaves from scratch following standardized recipes and procedures
  • weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately to produce consistent results
  • monitor proofing and baking processes to ensure optimal texture, flavor, and appearance
  • operate and maintain baking equipment including mixers, ovens, proofers, and sheeters safely and efficiently
  • maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • rotate stock and monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies
  • collaborate with the pastry and culinary teams to plan production schedules and special bread offerings
  • assist with menu development and contribute ideas for seasonal or specialty bread items
  • uphold company standards of excellence, professionalism, and teamwork
