Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience preferred
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and maintenance of kitchen/bakery equipment
- Ability to work any day of the week and any shift including holidays and weekends
- Must pass background check
- Ability to bend, twist, turn, push, and pull a minimum of 100 pounds in a cart
- Ability to reach above and below the shoulder carrying a minimum of 50 pounds
- Knowledge of pastry bag, cake decorating, piping, knife and spatula techniques
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods or entire shift
- Flexibility in fingers and hands to use kitchen/bakery equipment
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Familiarity with all bakery operations and ability to adapt to changing business demands

Job Duties
- Responsible for the production and decorating of all baked and finished goods for property outlets
- Follows standard, established recipes by weighing, mixing, proofing, baking and finishing baked products
- Ability to produce individual pastries, cakes, pies, plated desserts, breads, cookies, and pies and to decorate by set standards
- Ability to mix, form and bake formulas accurately and troubleshoot when items are not correct
- Follow order form and forecast necessary ingredients
- Prepare pans for baking while loading and unloading ovens
- Operate kitchen equipment including scale, upright mixer, steam kettle, stove, sheeter, glaze machine, confectionary machines, heat lamps, deep fryers, broiler, basic hand tools
- Oversee workstation based on par levels, occupancy, and reservations maintaining quality
- Maintain and rotate dated food stock for quality assurance
- Provide relief for Sous Chefs and assist in all kitchen areas
- Maintain assigned station clean and sanitary
- Recognize and correct product discrepancies and variations in quality, standards and specifications
