Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have and show outgoing and friendly behavior
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously and during an 8-hour shift
- Able to transfer trays and items up to specified weights and distances without mechanical assistance
- Adhere to all safety, health, and weight and measures regulations
- Maintain a Food Handlers permit

- Ability to answer phones and manage special orders
- Able to operate bakery equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while rotating products and discarding spoiled items
- Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work area
