Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years bakery experience or acceptable equivalent
- dependable and reliable
- flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and work in a team
- outgoing and friendly demeanor
- ability to operate bakery equipment
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours with breaks
- ability to lift items up to 40 lbs
- adherence to food safety and health regulations
- maintain food handler permit
Job Qualifications

- 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- dependable and reliable with flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

- ability to perform general housekeeping duties
- capability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift bakery items up to 40 lbs
- knowledge of health and safety regulations with ability to maintain food handlers permit
Job Duties
- assist the bakery manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- provide a high level of customer service ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of bakery area and equipment
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining product rotation and discarding outdated items
- receive, inspect, and log bakery products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- operate bakery tools and equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks
- perform general housekeeping duties within the bakery area
