Job Requirements

  • At least one year of professional baking experience
  • Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate prior to start date
  • Open availability including mornings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand walk and move throughout the shift including frequent bending lifting up to 50 pounds and stooping
  • Ability to remain positive and productive in a potentially hot or cold work environment

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies ensuring proper inventory control
  • Cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with kitchen and bakery staff according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index ensuring food quality and time standards are met
  • Answer report to and follow instructions from Bakery Operations Manager Baking and Pastry Director Executive Chef or other leadership
  • Properly clean and break down station at end of service ensuring all food handling and food storage standards are met
  • Ensure kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers leadership and vendors
