Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior baking or food production experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand motions
  • Availability to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Strong customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
  • Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
  • Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests by assisting with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
  • Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production levels
  • Maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards are met by specified times daily
  • Work closely with all Bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
  • Ensure regular, timely attendance and adequate notice for absences
  • Perform other duties as assigned
