Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience or training in baking or food service preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation standards
  • Knowledge of pastry and dessert production
  • Good reading and comprehension skills
  • Ability to follow oral instructions
  • Willingness to participate in further training on dessert preparation and sanitation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or graduate equivalency exam preferred
  • Basic understanding of safety and sanitation regulations in food service operations
  • Knowledge of dessert and pastry production

Job Duties

  • Prepare daily baked goods and desserts following recipes and guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of baking area following HACCP guidelines
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products
  • Follow oral and written instructions accurately
  • Assist in inventory management of baking supplies
  • Participate in training to improve dessert preparation techniques
  • Collaborate with dietary manager and kitchen staff to meet food service needs
