Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or relevant education experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Have good communication skills
- Be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be able to operate knives, scales, and bakery equipment
- Be physically able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 40 lbs
- Have or obtain a Food Handler's permit
- Be able to perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks

- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Demonstrate dependability and reliability
- Show an outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Have good communication skills and ability to take direction
- Ability to operate bakery equipment and take special customer orders
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift bakery items up to 40 lbs safely
- Adhere to safety, health, and food handling regulations
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of bakery department area and equipment
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation of all bakery products and discarding outdated items
- Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
- Operate bakery equipment safely, including knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
