Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in baking or pastry preferred but not required
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Adherence to health and safety guidelines

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
  • Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
  • Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests by assisting with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
  • Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production-levels for shifts
  • Maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards are met daily
  • Work closely with all Bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
  • Regular, timely attendance and compliance with work schedule
  • Perform other duties as assigned
