Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • experience in baking or food preparation is an asset

  • basic math skills for inventory and portioning

Job Duties

  • Follows the guaranteed Always Fresh procedure to ensure products are always fresh and accurate
  • adheres to product shelf life standards
  • delivers consistent and outstanding customer service by maintaining appealing product showcases with proper quantity and variety
  • enhances customer experience through friendly attitude and following the S.E.T. principles: Smile, Eye Contact, Thank You
  • supports speed of service targets by working quickly and efficiently to fill orders and meet customer needs
  • promptly executes service recovery for customer complaints by making it right with the guest
  • listens carefully to customer concerns and apologizes when necessary
  • follows all operations standards and guidelines for product preparation and equipment use
  • monitors fridge and freezer inventory and submits order quantities
  • prepares all products as required, minimizing food waste through smaller, frequent batches
  • records prepared items and waste on production sheets
  • responds to showcase and product needs
  • assists in serving guests when necessary
  • regularly takes temperatures and records them in logs
  • cleans and maintains the production area
  • follows all restaurant policies, procedures, and standards
  • supports a clean environment through regular cleaning, organization, and stocking
  • follows proper hand washing and sanitation guidelines
  • works in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
  • follows safe work practices and wears personal protective equipment
  • reports all injuries, illnesses, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents, or contraventions to management
  • avoids operating equipment or working in ways that endanger anyone
