Job Requirements
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and move baking supplies
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for baking and customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous baking experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food safety
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
Job Duties
- Bake breads, cookies, and pastries
- Produce fancy desserts and decorate cakes
- Operate ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers to prepare baked goods
- Ensure products meet quality, freshness, and safety standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked display cases and shelves
- Engage and interact pleasantly with customers
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
