Job Requirements

  • Some high school preferred
  • Food safety certification may be beneficial

  • Ability to operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, slicers, and proof boxes

Job Duties

  • Maintain enthusiastic customer service and awareness
  • Assist customers with product suggestions, special orders, and food preparation
  • Prepare baked goods including bread, cookies, pastries, and donuts using division production sheets
  • Measure, mix, proof, and bake dough or batter
  • Decorate and display products
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and visual appeal of the bakery area and equipment
  • Ensure proper temperatures during preparation, display, and storage
  • Stock, rotate, and organize inventory to ensure freshness and compliance
  • Follow department standards and company policies
  • Perform receiving duties and maintain accurate department records
  • Complete daily logs, production charts, and other required paperwork
