Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in baking or food service preferred
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds frequently
Flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
Understanding of health and safety standards applicable to bakery operations
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to use baking equipment safely

Job Qualifications

Customer focus and ability to deal tactfully with guests
Effective problem-solving skills in dynamic environments
Comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and company policies
Knowledge of retail food business and perishable department operations
Ability to work as part of a team and support department goals
Strong communication skills
Prior experience in baking or pastry preferred but not required

Job Duties

Follow recipes and production lists precisely
Monitor dates and freshness and handle outdated items
Adhere to health department guidelines and sanitation practices
Provide excellent customer service and assist guests
Keep track of stock levels and service floor needs
Maintain food safety logs and meet quality standards
Collaborate with bakery associates to meet department goals
Ensure regular attendance and provide adequate notice for absences
Perform other duties as assigned
