Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in baking or food service preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
  • Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds frequently
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
  • Understanding of health and safety standards applicable to bakery operations
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to use baking equipment safely

  • Effective problem-solving skills in dynamic environments

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and production lists precisely
  • Monitor dates and freshness and handle outdated items
  • Adhere to health department guidelines and sanitation practices
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist guests
  • Keep track of stock levels and service floor needs
  • Maintain food safety logs and meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with bakery associates to meet department goals
  • Ensure regular attendance and provide adequate notice for absences
  • Perform other duties as assigned
