Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of bakery experience or equivalent
- dependable and reliable
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

- basic proficiency in bakery equipment
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Food Handlers permit

Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- demonstrate dependable and reliable work habits with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
- ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment
- ability to perform general housekeeping duties in the bakery
- knowledgeable in operating bakery tools and equipment
- able to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks such as transferring trays and items up to specified weights
- hold a Food Handlers permit and adhere to all safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- provide a high level of customer service ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining the rotation of all bakery products and discarding outdated items
- receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
- operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- answer phones and take special orders as required
