Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • 1-2 years baking experience or graduation from a culinary program
  • Knowledge of food and cooking methods
  • Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines
  • Sense of urgency and prioritization
  • Ability to success in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication

Job Duties

  • Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility, which will meet or exceed federal, state, and local standards
  • Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as bagels, cookies, bread, cakes, etc.
  • Decorating and displaying finished products
  • Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
  • Evaluate cooked food for quality prior to being served
  • Keeping record of inventory and production
  • Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
  • Abide by company policies regarding food service
  • Other duties as assigned
