Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 1-2 years baking experience or graduation from a culinary program
- Knowledge of food and cooking methods
- Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines
- Sense of urgency and prioritization
- Ability to success in a deadline driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication

Job Duties
- Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility, which will meet or exceed federal, state, and local standards
- Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as bagels, cookies, bread, cakes, etc.
- Decorating and displaying finished products
- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
- Evaluate cooked food for quality prior to being served
- Keeping record of inventory and production
- Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
- Abide by company policies regarding food service
- Other duties as assigned
