Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of prior baking experience preferred
- availability for full-time or part-time schedules
- open availability preferred
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to lift and stand for extended periods
- basic math skills for production tracking
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- assists in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensures proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- assists with completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- ensures proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
- handles food items safely and follows all safety regulations during preparation and service
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
- interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
- checks that all food is presented, served, and displayed per standards
- follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment
- completes shift work in a timely and thorough manner
- performs other duties as assigned
