Job Requirements

Must be able to stand for 8 to 12 hours daily in a hot environment
Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs
Pass all required tests with 90 percent or higher
Must wear personal protective equipment including face mask and non-slip shoes
Must be dependable and punctual
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
Flexible to work varying shifts

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years experience as a baker or pastry chef preferred
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail and organization
Effective communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting

Job Duties

Prepare bakery items following standardized recipes
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area
Ensure consistency and quality of all food items
Adjust oven temperatures and baking conditions
Portion, roll, knead, cut, or shape dough
Decorate baked goods using appropriate tools
Clean and maintain baking equipment
