Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have an outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Possess good communication skills
- Be able to take direction and work in a team environment
- Be able to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the bakery area
- Operate baking equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously for up to 8 hours per shift
- Be able to transfer trays and items of specific weights and heights up to 40 lbs without mechanical assistance
- Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Maintain a Food Handlers permit

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Demonstrate dependable and reliable work ethic
- Show outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Have a Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain one
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery department area
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy of bakery products
- Examine product rotation and discard outdated or spoiled items
- Receive, inspect, and log product shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality
