Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to bend knead and lift heavy bags up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work with hot ovens and baking equipment
  • Ability to work in a warm and fast-paced environment
  • Must have good physical stamina

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread cakes cookies pastries pies and other specialty items
  • Operate ovens and baking equipment ensuring correct temperatures and perfect results
  • Monitor ingredient inventory levels order supplies and ensure proper storage
  • Clean and sanitize baking equipment workstations and utensils maintaining safety and hygiene
  • Regularly inspect baked goods for quality ensuring they meet bakery standards in appearance texture and taste
  • Follow daily par sheets to meet production targets
  • Maintain strict health department and company food safety standards
