Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in baking or food production is an advantage
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and maintain production schedules
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of retail food business and perishable department operations
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support department goals
- Capability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
- Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
- Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
- Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction
- Keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs to ensure proper assortment and production-level
- Maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily
- Work closely with Bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and adequate notice to find a replacement for absences
- Perform other duties as assigned
