Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions
  • Continuous standing and walking during shifts
  • Visually locate merchandise and verify small print information
  • Exposure to various weather conditions and workplace environments
  • May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and allergens such as latex, eggs, nuts, soy, and wheat
  • Employment contingent upon passing PEP survey, drug screen, reference check, and background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
  • Experience in bakery operations or food production is a plus
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Accountability and professionalism in workplace conduct
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures

Job Duties

  • Support bakery department operations including readiness, staffing, and pricing
  • Manage inventory preparation, ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing, and returns
  • Ensure compliance with company and food safety production guidelines for food preparation and packaging
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the bakery department and equipment
  • Use critical thinking to solve operational problems effectively
  • Build and foster positive relationships with customers and associates
  • Follow company policies and procedures consistently
