Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain outgoing, friendly and positive behavior
- Possess good communication skills
- Be able to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Operate bakery equipment safely
- Be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Maintain a valid Food Handlers permit
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills
- Have good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team
- Be able to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department
- Operate bakery equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy and examine product rotation
- Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
- Work effectively in a fast paced environment
