Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-year previous experience in a commercial bakery or food production environment
  • strong knowledge of baking techniques, from scratch recipes, and ingredient handling
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately
  • excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products
  • strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to work early mornings, Saturdays, and some holidays
  • a positive attitude, teamwork, and a passion for baking
  • must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules
  • operate baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and proofers with precision and care
  • bake a variety of items including bread, pastries, cakes, pies, and cookies following established recipes and techniques
  • assemble baked goods ensuring visually appealing and consistent results
  • monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
  • adhere to health and safety standards including proper sanitation and food handling practices
  • collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet customer demand
  • maintain a clean and organized work area including regular equipment maintenance and cleaning
