- one year of experience as a baker in a restaurant, commercial, or institutional facility
- experience operating baking equipment
- experience following recipes
- ability to complete and maintain food safety training required by University Housing and Dining

- culinary degree preferred
- two years of experience as a baker preferred
- experience preparing and baking from scratch preferred
- high volume baking experience preferred
- ability to multitask and work with little supervision preferred
Job Duties
- assist in the preparation of all types of baked goods utilizing commercial kitchen equipment
- assist with preparing product transfers and requisitions and complete daily production records and waste sheets
- clean all bakery areas and maintain all hot and cold storage areas in a safe and organized condition
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service
- maintain a clean and organized workspace for efficient food preparation and presentation
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines including proper labeling and storage of products
- adhere to written and oral University and UHD policies such as time and attendance and required trainings
