Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months to one year of related bakery experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive motions
- Visual ability including color vision, depth perception, and field of vision
- Availability for overnight shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over six months up to one year of related baking or bakery experience
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate bakery team members
- Knowledge of bakery equipment operation
- Commitment to sanitation and safety standards
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading heavy objects, passing along suggestions
- Answer telephone promptly and take product orders
- Check orders and set production schedules
- Prepare, bake, and fry bakery products as needed
- Review product freshness and pull stale items
- Invoice and put away products
- Anticipate product needs for current and future days
- Inspect incoming product quality and quantity
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment
- Check signage for correct labels
- Review safety issues in department
- Lead bakery clerks
- Prioritize orders
- Proof necessary items
- Pull products from freezer or cooler
- Practice proper sanitation and maintain cleanliness
- Follow dress code and hygiene standards
- Adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- Report to work on time
- Order supplies and merchandise
- Re-merchandise shelves and dispose of outdated products
- Write department schedule and find replacements
- Assist in other store areas
- Perform special projects as required
