Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards and proper equipment use
- assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
- inform supervisor when supplies are low
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
- handle food items appropriately and follow all safety regulations during preparation and service
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
- relay relevant concerns to supervisors
- maintain calm, accurate and efficient operations during peak production
- check food presentation, serving and display per standards
- follow principles of sanitation and safety ensuring corporate and OSHA compliance
- complete shift work assigned timely and thoroughly
- perform other duties as assigned
