Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of food producing process, sanitization, and quality program
  • Knowledge of food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice/procedure
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge including FDA
  • Confectionery/Foods major recommended
  • Food Handler's Certificate preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Multiple priority management abilities
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to work with diverse teams

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Responsible for frying donuts, placing toppings, and decorating pastries and bread
  • Carrying out kitchen operations and production tasks
  • Baking recipes and preparing all desserts
  • Performing general oven duties including checking dough conditioner
  • Preparing all necessary materials and ingredients
  • Scaling and shaping breads, loaves, and pastries
  • Maintaining sanitization procedures and cleanliness of work station and kitchen
  • Organizing bread production methods
  • Prioritizing and completing daily baking tasks
  • Ensuring workplace safety and hygiene
  • Receiving, stocking, and storing food in designated areas
  • Reporting equipment malfunctions and managing food supplies
  • Completing production, usage, and waste reports
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
