- previous experience in baking or culinary environment

- ability to work early morning shifts and rotating weekends
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects

Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role
- knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs
- creativity and attention to detail in product presentation
- culinary training or certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of goods such as bread, rolls, cookies, pies, cakes, and pastries
- follow recipes and formulas accurately to ensure product consistency and quality
- monitor the baking process and adjust oven temperatures and baking times as needed
- measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen tools and equipment
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area, tools, and equipment
- manage inventory and order baking supplies to ensure stock is maintained
- decorate and finish baked items as needed (e.g., icing cakes, adding toppings)
- adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- collaborate with kitchen and service staff to meet customer needs and special requests
- innovate and suggest new recipes or seasonal items to enhance the menu
