Job Requirements

A high school diploma or GED preferred
one year of baking experience preferred
current Food Handler’s Permit
ability to read and follow a recipe
basic math skills used to half or double recipes
knowledge of baking procedures and times
ability to interpret policies and procedures
excellent organization and planning skills
strong verbal and listening communication skills
ability to accept constructive review
ability to make significant decisions using recognized techniques
must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven and self-directed
ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
ensures the quality and freshness of all bakery products and services
maintains appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, including ad items
keeps the bakery clean and sanitized to company standards
delivers excellent customer service
follows production sheets to ensure fresh baked product levels
performs other job-related duties as assigned
