Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking or food production experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to follow recipes and adhere to health and safety standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
  • Monitor dates and freshness and handle outdated items properly
  • Report shrinkage
  • Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests, taking special orders, and addressing guest concerns
  • Answer phone calls with proper etiquette
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure proper assortment and production levels
  • Maintain food safety logs and meet quality standards by specified times
  • Collaborate with Bakery associates to meet department goals
  • Maintain regular and timely attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
