Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Outgoing and friendly attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work in a team
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general cleaning and sanitation
- Ability to operate bakery equipment including knives, scales, and pallet jacks
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and transfer items up to 40 lbs
- Comply with all safety, health, and Food Handlers regulations
Job Qualifications

- 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to take direction in team environment
- Ability to answer phones and handle special orders
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas
- Proficient in operating knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products
- Ability to stand for extended periods and physically transfer items as required
- Adherence to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations and maintenance of Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining product rotation and discarding outdated items
- Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Answer phones and take special orders
