Job Requirements
- Prior experience in baking, scratch baking, and cake decorating
- ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:45 pm
- ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
- excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- good physical stamina for standing and working in a kitchen environment
- ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policies
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in baking, scratch baking, and cake decorating
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to follow recipes and production standards accurately
- experience with production planning and record keeping
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and proper equipment
- assist in maintaining production records including waste tracking and inventory management
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area
- handle food items safely and according to regulations
- clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
- interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally
- maintain calm and efficiency during peak production
- check food presentation, serving and display standards
- follow sanitation and safety standards
- complete shift work timely and thoroughly
- perform other duties as assigned
