Job Requirements

  • Some high school or equivalent education
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English
  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to interact with customers on a friendly basis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Availability to start shifts around 2 a.m.
  • Ability to work alone while baking
  • Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant when needed
  • Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
  • Physical ability to bend, stand, walk and use hands repetitively throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50lbs occasionally and 10lbs frequently
  • Ability to handle exposure to food and cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greets customers and prepares their orders, uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and computes the amount of the bill, collects payment from the customer and make change
  • Prepares food neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains to customers accurately and in a cheerful and helpful manner
  • Checks products in prep area and restocks items to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift
  • Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas or portion controls
  • Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitization standards while preparing food, serving food and clean up, including checking dates and temperatures and logging the information
  • General housekeeping and cleaning
  • Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook and the standards of the franchisee (s&r)
  • Performs light paperwork duties as assigned
