Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years bakery experience or acceptable combination of education and experience
- demonstrate dependability and reliability
- work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- show outgoing, friendly behavior and positive attitude
- have good communication skills and ability to take direction
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- perform cleaning and sanitizing of work area
- operate bakery tools and equipment
- stand for long periods
- lift and transfer items up to 40 lbs
- adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- maintain food handler's permit

Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- stock, fill, face shelves, ensure pricing accuracy, examine product rotation, and discard expired goods
- receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, and pallet jacks
- answer phones and take special orders
