Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stretch, and kneel as needed
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to work around hot equipment safely
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Adherence to uniform and grooming standards
- Must comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and baking instructions
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Strong multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Bake batches according to the needs shown on daily PAR/BAKE ORDER sheets
- Consistently produce a high quality bakery product
- Be extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items
- Keep workstation clean at all times
- Properly clean all dishes and pans throughout shift (minimum 30 pans per day)
- Assist managers in determining current and needed bread levels and bake sequence
- Strictly adhere to all safety and health code requirements for the bakery including OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines
- Complete all baking assignments in a timely manner
