Job Qualifications

  • One plus years in the restaurant or baking industry preferred
  • knowledge of baking techniques and basic sourdough understanding is a plus
  • ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • basic culinary math skills including bakers math
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • passion for food and hospitality
  • willingness to learn and develop skills

Job Duties

  • Bake multiple types of sourdough and yeasted breads daily
  • produce daily pastry items including laminated pastries and ice cream
  • maintain and learn bread recipes, baking techniques, and quality standards
  • follow cleaning and safety protocols
  • collaborate with team members to assist in prep work, cleaning, and other kitchen tasks
  • participate in meetings and training for continuing education
  • analyze mistakes and finished products to improve quality
  • contribute to creation of specials and specialty items
  • maintain flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and early morning shifts
