Job Requirements

  • Prior baking or food preparation experience is an asset but not required

Job Duties

  • Follows the guaranteed Always Fresh procedure to ensure products are always fresh and accurate
  • Adheres to product shelf life standards to ensure the best quality product is available to guests
  • Delivers consistent and outstanding customer service by maintaining an appealing showcase with minimum quantity and variety standards
  • Enhances the customer service experience through friendly attitude, attentive behavior and following the S.E.T. Principles: Smile, Eye Contact, Thank You
  • Supports speed of service targets by working quickly and efficiently to fill orders in the restaurant and drive thru
  • Executes service recovery promptly for any customer service concerns or complaints
  • Listens carefully to customer service concerns and apologizes for the experience
  • Follows all operations standards and guidelines for preparation of products and operation of equipment
  • Monitors fridge and freezer product inventory and submits order quantities
  • Prepares products minimizing food waste through smaller quantities produced more often and records waste
  • Receives and responds to showcase and product needs from the restaurant front
  • Assists in serving guests in the restaurant front when necessary
  • Takes and records temperatures of products, fridges and freezers
  • Cleans and maintains the production area
  • Follows all restaurant policies, procedures and standards
  • Supports a clean environment through regular cleanup, organization and stocking of the kitchen
  • Follows proper hand washing and sanitation guidelines
  • Works in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
  • Understands and follows safe work practices and procedures
  • Uses personal protective equipment as required
  • Reports all injuries, illnesses, accidents and unsafe conditions to the restaurant manager or owner
  • Does not operate equipment or work in a manner that endangers anyone
