Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training
- Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly with guests and team members
- Proficient in following oral and written instructions
- Meets state requirements for bakery equipment operation
- Valid State Food Handlers Permit
- Valid Driver's License or State ID
- Physically able to perform job demands including lifting and standing
- Willingness to adhere to safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work assigned shifts consistently and punctually
- Ability to mentor and work collaboratively with team
- Demonstrates dependability and honesty
- Able to maintain cleanliness and food safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent training and experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic mathematical skills using money and weight units
- Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions
- Meets state requirements to work with bakery equipment like slicers
- Valid State Food Handlers Permit
- Valid Driver's License or State ID
- Completion of Yoke's provided training programs including bakery skills, safety, and guest service
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for prolonged periods
- Good vision including color and depth perception
Job Duties
- Reporting for assigned shifts on time and regularly
- Promoting sales by offering high-quality products consistent with company formulas
- Providing exceptional guest service using trained skills
- Performing bakery tasks including finishing par bake products, labeling, rotating, writing on cakes and orders
- Maintaining proficiency in producing various bakery items while ensuring a sanitary environment
- Operating bakery equipment safely such as ovens, fryers, slicers, and packaging machines
- Monitoring product quality and shrink to ensure standards
- Receiving and inspecting deliveries for correct quantity and quality
- Accurately communicating and completing guest special orders
- Mentoring new associates and fostering a positive learning environment
- Ensuring compliance with safety and food handling regulations
- Participating in accident reduction and safety programs
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety features in the bakery area
