Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in food preparation or baking is an asset

Job Duties

  • Follow the always fresh procedure to ensure products are always fresh and accurate
  • adhere to product shelf life standards to ensure quality
  • deliver consistent and outstanding customer service by maintaining an appealing showcase with minimum quantity and variety standards
  • enhance customer service experience through friendly attitude and following the S.E.T. Principles: smile, eye contact, thank you
  • support speed of service targets by working quickly to fill orders and meet customer needs in the restaurant and drive thru
  • promptly execute service recovery for any customer service concerns or complaints
  • listen carefully to customer service concerns and apologize for complaints
  • follow all operations standards and guidelines for product preparation and equipment operation
  • monitor fridge and freezer inventory and submit order quantities
  • prepare products minimizing food waste and record production and waste
  • respond to showcase and product needs from restaurant front
  • assist in serving guests when necessary
  • regularly take and record temperatures of products and equipment
  • clean and maintain the production area
  • follow all restaurant policies, procedures and standards
  • support a clean environment ready for rush periods through regular clean up and stocking
  • follow proper hand washing techniques and sanitation guidelines
  • work in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
  • know and follow safe work practices and procedures
  • use personal protective equipment as required
  • report all injuries, illnesses, accidents, unsafe conditions and security incidents to management
  • avoid operating equipment or working in a manner that endangers anyone
