Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Adaptable to different situations with flexibility to respond to shifting priorities
- Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions
- Ability to lift, carry, and place merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Frequent reaching overhead and below knees, including pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, twisting
- Occasionally required to climb
- Continuous repetitive motion with hands and arms
- Standing and/or walking continuously throughout shift
- Ability to visually locate merchandise and verify information often in small print
- May be exposed to all weather conditions as well as inside work with variations in heat, cold, dust, and humidity
- May be exposed to cleaning solvents or other chemicals
- May be exposed to latex, eggs, nuts, soy, and wheat
- Employment contingent upon completion and evaluation of a PEP survey, drug screen, reference checks, and criminal background check

- Basic knowledge of bakery operations and food safety practices
Job Duties
- Support bakery department operations including readiness, staffing, price maintenance, and policies
- Manage bakery department replenishment and inventory processes such as ordering, receiving, invoicing, and back stock
- Adhere to proper equipment procedures including cleaning and maintenance
- Follow company and food safety production guidelines for fresh food preparation, packaging, weighing, pricing, and labeling
- Maintain department cleaning standards using approved equipment and chemicals
- Define and solve problems using critical thinking and logic
- Produce high-quality products while ensuring safety for self and others
