Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries according to production and catering sheets
  • Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • Ensure food preparation follows approved recipes and production standards
  • Complete production records including waste tracking and inventory reporting
  • Maintain proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and workstations
  • Handle food items safely complying with food safety regulations
  • Clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
  • Keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
  • Ensure all food is presented, served and displayed per standards
  • Follow sanitation and safety standards including OSHA guidelines
  • Complete shift work in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned
