Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year previous experience in a commercial bakery or food production environment
  • strong knowledge of baking techniques
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately
  • excellent attention to detail
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work early mornings, Saturdays, and some holidays
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules
  • operate baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, with precision and care
  • bake a variety of items, including bread, pastries, cakes, pies and cookies, following established recipes and techniques
  • assemble baked goods, ensuring visually appealing and consistent results
  • monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
  • adhere to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and food handling practices
  • collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet customer demand
  • maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular equipment maintenance and cleaning
