Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in baking or pastry production preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in food preparation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail food environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Basic math and measurement skills
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
- Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
- Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
- Keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs to ensure proper assortment and production
- Maintain food safety logs and quality standards by 10 am and 5 pm daily
- Work closely with bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
- Regular and timely attendance, with notice for absences
- Perform other duties as assigned
