Job Requirements
- Must obey all state and federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies
- wear proper headwear such as hat or hairnet
- wash hands frequently with hot water from elbows down for not less than 20 seconds
- ability to lift and move heavy items between 20 lbs and 60 lbs
- capability to push or pull weights up to 200 lbs
- physically able to bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder level safely
- willingness to follow detailed instructions and maintain workplace cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- Inspect machinery at beginning of day for potential repairs and report need for repairs to bakery manager
- prepare breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- clean machinery at end of day
- assist and participate with company marketing promotional events and programs as needed
- perform all other assigned job duties
Job Duties
- Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs
- place boxes or product onto dolly or cart
- push or pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs of items on cart or dolly
- bend or stoop to pick up and place product below waist level including shelves and racks
- place product onto bins and position for sale
- grasp or grip product to prepare for sales floor by either cutting or cleaning product
- constantly sweep and use broom to pick up debris to keep work area clean
- place and remove product from bakery cooler, proofing, and ovens including shelving and bakery bins
- reach above shoulder level for produce placement on sales floor plus shelving and rack system in bakery warehouse areas
- place debris, trash, and recycle cardboard in respective areas
- clean and maintain bakery tables and bins
