Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year related experience
- Ability to pass mandatory or random drug test per company policy unless prohibited by law
- Ability to pass background check if 18 years of age or older including credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and references unless prohibited by law
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods
- Possession of a California Food Handlers Card
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year related experience
- Understanding of generally accepted industry standards related to bakery preparation
- Thorough knowledge of bakery ingredients and related products
- Ability to understand and follow bakery and pastry recipes and production guidelines
- Ability to effectively operate bakery equipment including mixers, rack ovens, dough cutters, proofer boxes, dough dividers, and work benches
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods
- Ability to pass mandatory or random drug test according to company policy
- Ability to pass background check including credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references as required
Job Duties
- Conduct all baking and pastry production including scaling, measuring, traying, rolling, baking, cooling, freezing, and general finishing
- Adhere to established recipes and production guidelines, meeting all production requirements
- Direct the activities of Assistant Bakers and Bakery Cleaning Assistants
- Maintain inventories including counting of ingredients and establishing order amounts to maintain required product levels
- Adjust drafts or thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperature
- Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and perform all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements
- Meet scheduling availability requirements including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
- Meet Six Flags attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags attendance policies
- Adhere to Six Flags Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
